About Us

Welcome to our site! Rob, Ethan, Ella and I live in Onsted, MI a small town in the southeastern part of the state…we don’t even have a real traffic light—just a blinking yellow. When I say small—it’s really small. Weird place for a cloth diaper business huh? I grew up here and we returned to the area after going to school and living in Los Angeles and Chicago.

We’ve been married for just over 4 years and welcomed our son, Ethan, in September of 2007 and our daughter, Ella, in September of 2009.

The idea for Cheeky Diapers started shortly after the girls in my breastfeeding group, LatchOn Lenawee, convinced me to try cloth diapering. I started making cloth diapers in January for Ethan. After making and trying many different types of diapers I knew that one-size pockets, fitteds and covers seemed to make the most sense why buy a whole bunch of different sizes? I thought I could come up with my own one-size pocket, fitted and cover…and after MANY versions—Cheeky Diapers was born.
