Ergo Baby Carrier

My husband and I are huge fans of babywearing. We have worn Ethan since he was born. First in a Maya Wrap Sling and then in a Ergo Baby Carrier when he got to be too heavy for the sling. The Ergo has seriously revolutionized my life. I can wear him grocery shopping, if I need to finish something at home and he wants to nap, or if I want to go for a quick walk and don't want to bother with a stroller. I have worn it for as short a time as 15 minutes for as long as four hours...with NO back pain, and I have back problems.

It fits kind of like a back pack with wide well padded straps and is super adjustable--my husband and I both wear it and we have completely different body shapes. Your baby can be worn in the front, side, or on your back. Plus it is just plain really well made. I know that Ethan is really safe in this carrier. The only down side is the cost—trust me it's worth it...you'll never have to buy another carrier. Unless you're like me and like to have a cute fashionable carrier like the Mei Tai that holds your baby in similar ways...but with cute fabric. LOL
