Organic Bamboo French Terry

This organic bamboo french terry is knit on one side and looped terry on the other. It is 70% Organic Bamboo, 28% Organic Cotton, and 2% polyester backing. It is a natural cream color. You can sew it loop or knit side out. I use it as an inner soaker material--and it soaks up beautifully!

Bamboo is fast growing and needs no pesticides so it is an environmentally friendly crop.  It absorbs 4 times more than cotton alone, making it a great diaper fabric.

I recommend prewashing this fabric before use--it shrinks a bit and plus you want it to come to it's full absorbency faster! Just throw it in the washer with a bit of detergent and then wash and dry on hot.

Bamboo fabrics do need 3-5 washes to come to full absorbency.
